North London MC Clive Mercury is in it to win over the grime scene with his new song, "Virginia". This cut serves as the lead single from his new EP, Grapes, which is due for release on December 14 via Polar Records.

"Virginia" has a gritty and dark feel to it — perfectly matching Clive's grimey flow and hard-hitting bars. Throughout the song, he smartly flips the word Virginia, rapping: "I want a drink of Virginia; I want a trip to Virginia; I want to swim in Virginia." The Will Beach-directed visuals also mirror the sentiment of the tune, with Mercury rapping in front of a council estate backed by a group of friends, who keep it all the way LDN by sporting Nike tracksuits and matching creps.
