Tel Aviv-based producer Noam Helfer, who now operates under the moniker Age Is A Box, is currently preparing for the release of his debut album. While we all wait for that, he's sharing the latest single from the album, "Rush", and it's both haunting and weirdly upbeat. A taut little indie number, Helfer's deep, crooning vocals are counterbalanced by the upbeat, colourful guitar melodies and snappy rhythm section. With all this in mind, it's no wonder Helfer's held as one of the leaders of his hometown's blossoming indie scene.

On the meaning behind the track, Helfer told Complex: "Sometimes you just want more, not because it's good for you, but because it's exciting to get things, especially new things. I met a beautiful redhead, she wanted more, but I wanted to stay free. I found myself exhausted from too much. I lost track of what's good for me and what's not, so I decided to cut everything out. Is it easier now?"

"Rush" officially drops tomorrow, November 9.
