City Girls' JT, who's currently in prison on fraud charges, sent a timely message of thanks to fans Monday. She also sent some love to Cardi B for recently contributing to the superb "Twerk" remix, which you can (and absolutely should) stream above.

"First of all, I would like to thank Cardi for getting on the 'Twerk' record," JT said, as shared on Instagram by Quality Control CEO Pierre Thomas. "That means a lot to me because I honestly look up to you. I cannot wait to see the video. I know you're gonna do your thing . . . I also wanna thank the City Girls and the City Boys for always supporting me, and our new City Girls and City Boys, keep streaming Girl Code."

Girl Code dropped Friday, also featuring Jacquees and Lil Baby. The latter appears on a track that arguably garnered the most Twitter talk over the weekend, the excellent DJ OnDaBeat-produced "Season."

As for the impact Yung Miami expects JT's prison sentence to have on City Girls' career moving forward, she's not sweating it. In an interview with Complex back in July, Miami predicted bigger things to come.

"Leading up until this point, it was like a roller coaster, we had times where we would be sad, we had times when we would be happy, but I just feel like it’s a minor setback for a major comeback, 'cause when artists go to the jail they come out bigger, like Kodak," Miami said at the time.
