Post Malone Reveals New Shocking Detail About Emergency Plane Landing

Post Malone spoke with Billboard about what happened when the plane he was on needed to make an emergency landing in New York.

“I’m terrified of flying in the first place, so every time I get on a flight, I always try my best to fall asleep. But this one…I wasn’t tired.” In an interview with Billboard, Post Malone recalls that morning in late August when the private plane he was on encountered a number of problems before making an emergency landing hours later. “There was a censor malfunction up front, so we had to turn around and land again,” Post remembers.

When the plane took off a second time, Post says he “heard a big ass pop,” a reference to the two tires that blew out while the aircraft left Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. Malone says that when “shit started coming in from underneath the table,” he was admittedly freaking out. After discovering that his plane had too much fuel to make a safe landing, they were stuck circling around for several hours. Post was resigned to the fact that if something bad were to happen, he wanted to get it over with. “You know, you figured if something is gonna happen, just get it over with, like a Band-Aid or something,” he said. “But just the fucking anxiety of like, ‘This is fucked.’ That was the worst part.”

At the 1:12 mark, Post reveals that the wing of his plane was “fucked” since it “kinda blew in half” while in the air. Before venturing into his thought process behind that tidbit of information, he decided to address those people who thought he was overreacting about the experience, saying, “Shit was scary! OK? Tough stuff. But, we made it!”
