UPDATED Oct. 11, 9 a.m. ET: Mariah has dropped her black-and-white video for the Mustard-produced joint. Enjoy it below.
See original story below.
Mustard is on the beat for Mariah Carey's new cut "With You," the first formal single from her upcoming 15th (!!!) studio album.
The track, centered around Carey telling someone she "fucks with" them in a romantic capacity, includes a callback to her 1997 Butterfly single "Breakdown" featuring Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. In the new track's pre-chorus, Carey sings:
Ever since that Bone Thugs song
You ain't gotta break down, you’re too strong

The new single was preceded by last month's promo single "GTFO," produced by Nineteen85. "I wanted to give my fans and everyone a first listen that wasn't so serious," Carey said of "GTFO" at the time. "I've had so much fun making this album, and I wanted the first moment to reflect that light-hearted spirit."
Also last month, a rep confirmed that Carey was "putting the finishing touches" on the new album, her first in four years. Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse dropped via Def Jam back in May 2014. Her Butterfly Returns residency experiences in Las Vegas will pick back up in February at the Colosseum in Caesar's Palace.
