Earlier this month, Eminem dropped off the music video for the track to coincide with the release of the Ruben Fleischer-directed Marvel movie, which stars Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, and Tom Hardy in the title role. "Venom" appears as the last song on the Detroit rapper's recently released surprise album Kamikaze. The project debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart and moved an impressive 434,000 equivalent album units in its debut week. Kamikaze, which boasts features from Joyner Lucas, Royce da 5'9", and Jessie Reyez, dropped back in late August while Venom hit theaters a little over a month later on October 5.
