Lil Uzi Vert Says He's Dropping New Music in Three Days

"You know, I've been in my feelings lately," Lil Uzi Vert told the crowd at Rolling Loud Bay Area festival in Oakland, California. "But you know, about one, two, three...three days I'm gonna drop some new shit."

Get ready Lil Uzi Vert stans! The 24-year-old rapper said he's releasing some new music.

"You know, I've been in my feelings lately," he told the crowd at Rolling Loud Bay Area festival in Oakland, California. "But you know, about one, two, three...three days I'm gonna drop some new shit." Lil Uzi then told the DJ to "play some shit [he's] probably gonna drop."

From the short snippet, it sounds like "5 Min," a song Uzi previewed on Instagram in June. According to Genius, fans were dubbing it "New Patek" before Lil Uzi sharing the official song title at Lollapalooza 2018.

It's been a little over a year since Lil Uzi Vert dropped Luv Is Rage 2. Since then he's been featured on a number of tracks including "Wasted" with Juice WRLD and "Up" with Young Thug. But fans can't help but get hype for his next effort, Eternal Atake. This is especially true because Uzi has been releasing a steady stream of song snippets including freestyles and creative imagery, making it one of the most anticipated albums dropping this fall.

There are even memes about it:

Luckily, fans won't have to wait much longer as many speculate that we'll be tuning into tunes from Eternal Atake in just a few days whether Heaven's Gate cult likes it or not.
