Summer 2018 in hip-hop has been stacked, and it's not slowing down in its final weeks. Gunna and Lil Baby are coming in hot with a new mixtape to usher us into fall before the month is over.

According to Lil Baby, their joint mixtape Drip Harder will be out before September ends. It originally was slated for July, but as they say, better late than never. The title of the project is a clear ode to Baby’s Harder Than Ever and Gunna’s Drip series.

Baby dropped his debut album via Quality Control back in May, while Gunna gave fans Drip Season 3 in February. The two have collaborated a handful of times before on "Oh Okay,” "Sold Out Dates,” "Life Goes On,” and the recent Young Thug release "Chanel." They've professed their bromance on social media, so this mixtape only makes sense.

In addition to Baby’s posts, Gunna shared a screenshot of texts between the two on his Instagram story. In the texts, the two share audio of what must be the final versions of their tracks. Gunna then texts, “Ok shit we really already done.”

Gunna will also be joining Travis Scott on his ASTROWORLD tour.
