From New York City to São Paulo, Johannesburg, Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles and beyond, the Red Bull Music Festival series has circumnavigated the globe, shining a light on the sounds, scenes and minds moving music forward. Now its Montréal’s turn: after last week's announcement that two music festivals would be coming to Canada's largest cities this fall, Red Bull has now shared the lineup for the Montreal installment and if you're in and around the area, or able to travel, we strongly suggest making your way to MTL from September 19 to 27 this year.

You can view the full lineup in the video above but some of the highlights include: the audio-visual experience Triptyque, wherein the 153-year-old Église Du Gesù will be "transformed into a lush sanctuary for an evening of one-of-a-kind, organ-centered compositions drawing on the full spectrum of human-made and digital instruments;" an evening celebrating the release of Ryan Hemsworth’s latest record, with help from visual associate Jon Eisener, Montréal designer Allister Lee and a slew of surprise guests; and a showcase centered around Montreal's burgeoning R&B scene starting Mind Bath, Shay Lia, Forever, TiKA accompanied by Toronto multi-instrumentalist Casey MQ, and the live debut of Paradis Artificiel, local supergroup of Victor Bongiovanni, Odile Myrtile, CRi and Ouri.

Tickets for the individual shows are on sale now at RedBull.ca/MTLFestival.
