Drake Shouts Out 11-Year-Old Fan After Successful Heart Transplant: 'I'm Happy for You'

Drake, who previously visited Sofia Sanchez while he was in Chicago, made the comments during a show in NYC.

On Tuesday night, Drake, along with Migos, performed for the fourth night at NYC's Madison Square Garden as a part of the Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour

During the show, Drake shouted out 11-year-old Sofia Sanchez and notified fans who have been keeping up that she has received a new heart. Earlier this month, Drake surprised Sofia by visiting her at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago while he was in the city for a tour stop.

Today, @LurieChildrens heart transplant patient Sofia Sanchez, who turned 11 on Saturday, had one of her birthday wishes come true– a surprise visit from @drake https://t.co/WmwH7VkP1S. #all4your1 #drake #kikichallenge

"God the other day blessed her with a new heart. So, Sofia, if they get this clip out to you, I love you and I'm happy for you." Then, Drake's mega-hit "God's Plan," very appropriately, began to play. Sofia is currently recovering after undergoing the 9-hour procedure, the Chicago Tribunereports.
