Nicki Minaj hopped into a culture writer Wanna Thompson's DMs after she suggested the rapper stop putting out "silly shit." The user is now receiving death threats from Minaj's fans.

Thompson tweeted, "Nicki Minaj exhibited #Queen behavior when she hopped in my DMs and insulted me numerous times over an innocent music opinion while her fans continue to harass me and DM me death threats. This is NOT okay." Her account has since gone private.

In another tweet, Thompson said the offending tweet read, "You know how dope it would be if Nicki put out mature content? No silly shit. Just reflecting on past relationships, being a boss, hardships, etc. She's touching 40 soon, a new direction is needed."

The user posted screenshots of the messages Minaj sent to her. Minaj wrote, "When ya ugly ass was 24, you were pushing 30? I'm 34. I'm pushing 40? Lol. And what does that have to do with my music?"

The rapper later corrected herself. She is 35, not 34.

Minaj continued to write, "Eat a dick, you hating ass hoe . . . Just say you jealous I'm rich, famous, intelligent, pretty, and go! But wait! Leave my balls! Tired of you sucking them."

Thompson wrote in another tweet that she was "literally shaking" because she knew she would receive a lot of backlash, but she wanted to put Minaj on blast because her behavior "is not okay."

This is not the first time Minaj has come after a critic on social media. She recently told an Instagram user that they were "too pressed, too mad, too ugly and forehead too big," after the user insulted her on a video she posted.
