New Orleans bounce queen Big Freedia didn't make an appearance in Drake's "Nice For What" music video, despite the fact that her vocals opened the song. It looks like she will appear in the video for Drake's upcoming "In My Feelings" video, though.

On Tuesday, Freedia posted a photo of herself with Drake on Instagram and included an "#inmyfeelings" hashtag in the caption.

The meeting between the two came while Drake had been spotted by people in New Orleans, where he was rumored to be shooting the video for his Scorpion hit.

Speaking with The Fader about getting proper credit for her work and not being included in the "Nice For What" video, Freedia said in April, "You know, my voice be on a lot of different stuff and people want to use bounce music as a part of their music but when it comes to the proper recognition of me being in the video, that's something that we're steady working towards to make it happen. The credits are important but, for me, it's still putting New Orleans on the map and I'm happy with the check."

Acknowledging the importance of Drake incorporating New Orleans bounce music into his sound, Freedia added, "We're steady moving forward to get the bounce culture even further out there and, as you can see, other artists are recognizing our music and our talent down here in New Orleans. One day we might get our category at these awards or on the charts. I've worked tremendously hard to make things happen for New Orleans culture. I just want us to get the proper recognition and the proper credit that we deserve."

Freedia's inclusion in the music video for a massive record-breaking No. 1 hit like "In My Feelings" feels like a good start.
