Method Man made a stop at The Cruz Show to talk not only about the upcoming second season of his show Drop The Mic, but also had a bit to say about Kanye West and his recent tweets. Around the eight-minute mark, he shared his thoughts about Kanye's recent comments, which have so far ranged from his love of Donald Trump to his belief that slavery was a choice.

"We haven't heard from Kanye in months and all of a sudden it's all this stuff. I can respect his opinion from afar. Very afar," Meth said. "But come on man, he got music coming out. Don't take this stuff seriously. Social media is the devil."

While the Wu Tang member seems fairly certain that the comments have more to do with the projects he has on the way than anything else, he also knows it might be taking its toll on both his fans and the people close to him. "I just don't want Kanye to alienate himself from people that really love him....That's why people are reaching out," he said. "It's because we care... Shout-out to Kanye, we love you brotha. Come home."

Before he set social media on fire with his support for conservative figures like Trump and YouTuber Candace Owens, Kanye shared a few important dates for not only his own upcoming solo and Kid Cudi collab albums, but Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, and Nas projects where he will serve as producer.

When Meth was asked how he would feel about getting his own Kanye-produced album, he said he "wouldn't rule out" the possibility. "Ye has some of that flavor in him. He's a very smart dude," he said.
