Lil Pump Says People Close to Him Are Turning 'Fake'

Lil Pump says he's "starting to notice a lot of sh*t."

With his new $8 million deal with Warner Bros, Lil Pump has noticed a change in how people treat him.

In a brief but candid note on his Instagram Stories late Sunday, Pump said he was "going thru it" right now because "everybody turning fake." By "everybody," Pump also means those closest to him. "Dis rap shit comes wit a lot of bullshit," he said. See the note in full below.

Pump was praised just last week by the honorable Juicy J as being one of the younger artists helping "keep the music alive" through their work. "They keep people interested in the music, you know?" he toldRolling Stone. "Like I say, man, all praises due to the man upstairs, man. Who's to say your music is gonna be around for 20 something years?"

The Juicy J praise arrived amid the hype surrounding that aforementioned Warner Bros. deal. Pump was previously signed to Warner Bros. under a different deal, reportedly having the contract voided because he was underage at the time of signing and the documents were never court-certified. Pump later told the world he wouldn't sign with anyone else "for nothing less than 12 to 15 mill."

Naturally, that "12 to 15 mill" demand prompted public offers from Gucci Mane and DJ Khaled. The new Warner Bros. deal, Pump clarified earlier this month, bags him $8 million for one album:
