Actress Tracey Birdsall accused Seal of groping and forcefully kissing her back in 2016, and now TMZ is reporting that the sexual battery complaint she filed has been rejected by the L.A. County District Attorney's Office. Citing lack of witnesses or evidence to back up her allegations, Birdsall's case has been thrown out and Seal will not face any criminal charges.

Birdsall came forward with her allegation after Seal encouraged women to share their own stories of sexual misconduct on social media. Seal also called out Oprah over her connections with Harvey Weinstein just days before Birdsall came forward with her allegations, but Seal was being called a hypocrite before Birdsall came forward. In a statement at the time, Seal denied the allegations, and his representative said that "he intends to vigorously defend himself against these false allegations."

In the original report, Birdsall claimed Seal attempted to kiss her, and when she asked what he was doing, he started to "belittle her" for her choice of clothing. She says he "insinuated" she had invited him to do so, at which point he allegedly proceeded to grope her breasts. Birdsall says she asked him to stop and she took a seat on his couch, when Seal apparently groped her again and mocked her tank top and shorts. The two were neighbors at the time, and she says they never interacted again after the incident.
