Willow Smith has kept a relatively low profile on the musical front in 2017, but that's about to change next week as the 16-year-old singer/actress is set to release her new project The 1st on Oct. 31, which also happens to be her birthday.
To give fans a taste of what's to come, Willow shares "Romance," an acoustic performance that pulls listeners in with her layered vocals and sociopolitical stance.
Willow isn't the only Smith who is leaning into their musical side as of late. Jaden—who will be performing and handling host committee duties at our second annual ComplexCon next weekend (Nov. 4-5)—has set a Nov. 17 release date for his new project SYRE. On top of that, their dad Will recently linked up with longtime friend and collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff for an unexpected EDM track.
