Tracee Ellis Ross is a national treasure for more reasons than one. Aside from her most appreciated asset, which she herself is a fan of and isn't afraid to pop jokes about, Tracee is a fire comedian, natural event host, part-time model, and of course, an incredible actress. And she's ready to be respected for another profession: rapper. Under the name T-Murda, Tracee has been spitting borrowed rhymes for at least a few years—but now, she's dropping off her own bars.

In a new promo for Carpool Karaoke: The Series, Ross links up with Big Sean to deliver her very own take on Sean's triple-platinum track "Bounce Back," which is also the Detroit rapper's highest-charting single, peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The pairing couldn't have been a more perfect match, since Tracee was initially introduced to the song by her black-ish co-stars Marsai Martin, Miles Brown and Yara Shahidi:

Before launching into her verse, Ross prepared by putting on her around-the-way-girl gold hoops with "#TMurda" in the center and throwing in her custom grill, which spells out her rapper name in rubies. Then, she was ready to pop TF off.

"Don't call me Tracee, It's T-Murda/Rhymes like a subpoena, 'bout to serve ya/Big Sean raised the bar, I raise it furtha/ Spitting verses ears ain't never heard of," she rapped, adding "But I'm keeping it PG because I'm an aunt."

With supportive ad libs from Big Sean, T-Murda continued to spit hot fiyah.

"You know me as an actress/First on Girlfriends, now I'm on black-ish/I see you eyeing my fashion/It's Zuhair Murad—thanks for askin'/My smile's big, that's my passion/Natural hair—big, so it matches/Haters? Nah, no distractions/Got that Golden Globe winner status."

She ended the rap with a figurative mic drop: "Feminist like boss, hun. My mom is Diana Ross, son."

T. MURDA. GO. OFF.

Earlier this month, Ross shared a behind-the-scenes clip on Instagram of her and Big Sean doing a dramatic reading of Missy Elliott's iconic song "Work It," also from their episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series.

You can watch T-Murda go in to "Bounce Back" at the top of this page. The full episode is available to watch only on Apple Music.
