Nominations for the 2016 MOBO Awards were announced today, with Laura Mvula and Kano picking up four nods apiece. With the pair also selected for the coveted Best Album award, the rest of the field in that category is rounded out by Giggs, Michael Kiwanuka and Skepta for Landlord, Love & Hate and Konnichiwa, respectively. Best Newcomer—which is possibly the hottest contested award of the night—sees grime kid AJ Tracey face off against rappers Avelino, Kojey Radical, Nadia Rose and more. The 2016 MOBO Awards takes place at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow on Friday 4th November.
