It looks like Beyoncé is taking a short, but much-needed, break.

Just days before the singer was scheduled to start the final leg of her Formation World Tour, it was announced that the Sept. 7 show in East Rutherford, New Jersey would be postponed. Why? Well, according to a statement by MetLife Stadium, Bey has been put on vocal rest under doctor’s order.

The venue announced Monday that the concert has been pushed back to Oct. 7. Any tickets for the original show will be valid for the new date, and refunds will also be available at point of purchase.

I have nothing to look forward to this week because Beyoncé postponed her concert to October😭

It’s disappointing news, to say the least; however, ticket-holders for the remainder of the Formation World Tour shouldn’t worry, though. According to MetLife, the St. Louis, Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Nashville gigs are expected to take place on their originally scheduled dates.

Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment have apologized for any inconvenience.
