Gucci Mane is hotter than ever right now after his release from prison this past May. He's released a successful new album, thrown crazy shows with special guests, met Fetty Wap, and even appeared in Vogue. And now he can add one more accomplishment to this ever-growing list: Gucci is on a song with The Biebs.
On Thursday, Gucci's long-rumored appearance on the remix of Major Lazer's "Cold Water," featuring MØ and Justin Bieber, was finally released. Gucci teased it by releasing a snippet on Instagram just before the whole song became available.
Not long thereafter, the song made its way to the Internet, courtesy of Miss Info. Gucci's verse finds him beginning with a soon-to-be-classic "Biebs!" ad-lib. He romantically offers to "push you in a lake, like Prince did Apollonia/Please don't wear that dress you wore last time, I'm warning ya."
Word of this song first came a few weeks ago, when Justin Bieber tweeted a picture of Gucci in the studio, with the hashtag "#ColdWater."
Some fans realized that this remix marked a homecoming of sorts, as Major Lazer producer Diplo has been down with Gucci for years, having produced a compilation mixtape of the rapper's work back in 2010.
