Despite the fact that he was forced to make an emergency landing in Nebraska on Monday after he suffered seizures on a plane during a cross country flight, it doesn't sound like Lil Wayne is slowing down at all. TMZ is reporting that Wayne checked out of a hospital in Omaha, Neb. on Tuesday and is already back on the road. The report claims he will not be cancelling any planned shows and is back to business as usual.
On Wednesday, Weezy performed three songs at E3, a video game conference in Los Angeles. He was there to promote his new game Sqvad Up. Footage of Wayne doing "Go D.J." is below.
Many fans were worried after hearing the initial reports about Wayne's seizures and the emergency landing his plane was forced to make. The story is reminiscent of the series of seizures Wayne suffered in 2012 and 2013, which he later revealed were caused by his epilepsy. Wayne was also reportedly drinking promethazine-codeine syrup—or lean—at the time, and reports in January claimed he had started using it again.
Although the official cause of Wayne's most recent seizures is not known at this time, a video from his performance Sunday night in Milwaukee, Wis. showed him with a double cup in hand. A TMZ report also claimed he was seen with multiple bottles of lean at the show, though that has not yet been confirmed.
For his part, Wayne sent out a tweet yesterday thanking his fans for their support.
