Late Monday night, Sinead O'Connor posted a scathing message to Facebook calling out her family for their mistreatment of her and claimed she is going to sue them. "OPEN LETTER TO JOHN REYNOLDS," the post begins in reference to her first husband. "You tell that evil son of ours that a person who suffers from two fucking medical conditions of which the symptoms include suicidal compulsion isn't being manipulative."

The expletive-filled open letter then addressed various members of her family, including her father and Reynolds, who co-produced several of her albums and is the father of her first-born son, Jake. To her own father, O'Connor accused him of mistreating her mother the same way. "You did this to my mother. You got away with it. I'm stronger than her. You won't get away with it this time."

She also claimed both her father and Reynolds asked her to have an abortion. "If you and my father had got what you pushed for, Jake wouldn't even fucking be alive. Only I fought because he was my baby and I LOVED HIM, CHILD AS I WAS MYSELF. You and my father dropped me off at the hospital to get rid of him, fuck sake."

She continued, "If I manage to live through it...I will see you all in court. I want damages. I have been unable to work. I have lost last year's income and this year's. I have had enormous medical expenses, and enormous trauma because of your torturing of me."

This post arrives a day after O'Connor had been reported missing by a caller concerned for her well-being. The Wilmette Police released a statement confirming they were checking on the singer. Fortunately, O'Connor was found safe Monday, but police would not disclose where or how O'Connor was found. This is not the first time O'Connor has publicly attacked her family. In 2015, the singer berated them for their treatment of her and later reached out to them for love after a suicide scare. You can read her full open letter to her family below.
