Drake finally has the No. 1 song in the country with "One Dance." The Toronto rapper's track featuring Wizkid and Kyla tops this week's Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the first time that he's even held the top spot as the lead artist on a track. The song has already reached the No. 1 spot in both the UK and Drizzy's home country of Canada

Drake's new album VIEWS is also having an exceptionally good week, as it's currently the No. 1 album in the country. VIEWS debuted at the top spot with 1.04 million equivalent album units sold and a record 245.1 million streams in the U.S. during the tracking week. For comparison, that's two-and-a-half times more than previous record holder, Justin Bieber, who scored just over 100 million plays for Purpose during its debut week last year. VIEWS is already the biggest single-week selling album of 2016 thus far

This is no small feat for Drake, who opened up about his dream of having a No. 1 song last year. " If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind)," he wrote at the time regarding "Hotline Bling." Unfortunately, "Hotline Bling" was never able to secure that top spot and peaked at No. 2. Previously, Drake topped the chart only as a featured artist, both on tracks with Rihanna as the lead including 2010's "What's My Name?" and their more recent song "Work," which spent an impressive nine weeks at top spot.

"One Dance" dethrones Desiigner's "Panda" falls from No. 1 to the No. 2 spot. Drake's friend and "Work" collaborator Rihanna also debuts in the top 10 with her new feature on Calvin Harris"This Is What You Came For." The song earns Rihanna her 28th Hot 100 top 10, tying Stevie Wonder for the fourth-most all-time. Only Madonna, the Beatles, and Michael Jackson now have more top 10 tracks than Rihanna. It's an even more incredible statistic when you realize that Rihanna has achieved all of this in the span of about a decade compared to the other artists whose careers span multiple decades.

If you're playing catch up, Drake has both the No. 1 album and the No. 1 song in the country. He now has the second most Hot 100 hits for a male artist in history, only trailing Lil Wayne, who has 130. What a time to be Drake. You can check out the rest of this week's Billboard Hot 100 here.
