Young Thug releases the video for “King Troup,” one of the latest singles off his mixtape I’m Up.
Keith Troup, who is a well-respected street legend from the Southside of Atlanta, was associated with artists such as T.I., 2 Chainz, CeeLo Green, Jermaine Dupri and Thugger. Troup was shot and killed on Dec. 12 in Atlanta. The murder is still unsolved.
“King Troup” is a dedication to him and a call to stop the violence with lines like “I Just asked God why he called for Troup.” You can watch the video above, which debuted at 10:17 p.m. in honor of Gucci Mane.
