Through the years, Ohio-native Jerreau has made plenty of waves on the hip-hop scene, both as a solo artist with the likes of Big Sean and Dom Kennedy, and for his work in the popular group Fly Union. Now, Jerreau is looking to forge forward on his own, and today he returns with the official stream of his debut album, Never How You Plan, which will be available to purchase on iTunes tomorrow. On the project, Jerreau brings fans into his many life experiences, as he balances catchy flows with relatable lyrics to results in a very enjoyable listen through and through.
"Never How You Plan is a collection of real life experiences and emotions. I like to say, I make music you live with. Drive to it, run to it, clean to it," Jerreau told Complex. "Everything’s not black and white, there’s a lot of grey area; metaphors and double meanings. I just hope the music speaks to you." With minimal features, the album is a complete effort from Jerreau and an essential piece for the upcoming Spring and Summer playlists.
