James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" series is one of the best on late-night TV, and last night, it got another strong bump with an appearance by Sia. While Corden and Sia slayed in-car performances of her songs "Chandelier" and "Diamonds," they also got into some pretty real issues and her past substance abuse. During the clip, Sia talked about her signature black-and-white wig, and whey she chose to go that route with her appearance as an artist. "I was a singer for 10 or 11 years to mediocre success, and I was an alcoholic and a drug addict," she said. "I sobered up and decided I didn't want to be an artist anymore because I was starting to get a little bit famous and it was destabilizing in some way."

Of course, Corden eventually donned one of Sia's famous wigs during the ride and they eventually talked about such things as if aliens exist. This fantastic episode with Sia comes right on the heels of another Justin Bieber "Carpool Karaoke," which aired right after the Grammys. If you missed it, you can watch it here, and catch up on other past episodes via Corden's YouTube
