Back in March, The Game was involved in an altercation with an off-duty cop during a pick-up basketball game. Onyebuchi Awaji sued The Game, claiming he was sucker punched on the court. Later, TMZ released a video of the fight that showed The Game was at fault. Now, TMZ has learned The Game has lost a lawsuit filed by Awaji.

According to TMZ, The Game never appeared to the trial, so a judge entered a default judgement in Awaji’s favor. The Game is ordered to pay $100,000, which breaks down to $60,000 for damages Awaji suffered and another $40,000 so the Compton rapper doesn’t do it again.

On Dec. 21, The Game pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from the incident in a Los Angeles courtroom. He was charged last June with one felony count of making criminal threats and a misdemeanor assault and battery charge.
