According to a report from Billboard, Chris Brown will not face charges stemming from an alleged altercation with a woman in a Las Vegas hotel room on New Year's weekend. Although authorities were originally considering charging the singer with misdemeanor battery and theft, per the report, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson determined that there was not enough evidence against Brown to pursue charges.
Brown originally made headlines at the beginning of the month when he was accused of punching a woman in the eye in his private suite in Las Vegas' Palms Hotel. He has denied any wrongdoing and pointed to a pattern of celebrity accusations by the woman in question. He also released this video rebuffing the accusations against him.
