UPDATE 11/13/15: Mad Decent released a statement on the situation this morning, and said that the search is ongoing for the girl who reportedly jumped overboard. We'll continue to update as the story develops.

Thursday, November 12 during the chartered cruise on Norwegian Pearl, a female guest was observed intentionally going overboard while the ship was sailing the Yucatan Channel. The ship's crew immediately initiated rescue measures, including deploying three rescue boats and notifying the Coast Guard and other relevant authorities. The search for the guest is ongoing. Both the ship and charter company teams are providing support to the family and all impacted guests during this difficult time.

A female party goer has reportedly fallen overboard during Mad Decent's ongoing Boat Party, a source confirmed to Complex. News of the mishap hit social media tonight, though details surrounding the accident remain unclear. The Norwegian Pearl, the cruise ship venue for the four-day traveling festival, reportedly circled back for a search rescue. According to Your EDM, all festival stages were temporarily closed and passengers were asked to return to their rooms for a headcount.
