On Saturday, Miley Cyrus was honored at the LGBT Center’s Vanguard Awards gala in Los Angeles. As the special guest for the evening, she was honored for her work with the Happy Hippie Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless LGBT youths.
At one point during the ceremony, musician Linda Perry auctioned off a white piano donated by Ruby Rose, who stars in Orange Is The New Black. Perry wanted some help and Cyrus was down to help out in our own special way. She licked the piano to persuade bidders, and it worked because someone from the audience bought it for $50,000.

"I want all of you to know that I feel beyond grateful to be in a room full of so many people who care so much about others because unfortunately that is way too rare in the world that we live in today. I'm thinking of tonight not as celebrating what we've already done but what we're doing and what we're going to do in the future."
