Last week, we helped Fool's Gold kick off their Fool's Gold Day Off series with a dynamic set from Madeaux. This week, the squad is hitting Atlanta with a huge line-up (featured acts include A-Trak, Father, What So Not, Nick Catchdubs, Rome Fortune, Post Malone, D.R.A.M., TM88) and special guests, as well as Montreal's Shash'U, who linked up with Fool's Gold earlier this year for a pair of sick releases: Thru Da Night and PWRFNK.
What's fire about Shash'U is that his style is a sick blend of bright electronic funk and his influences, which feature heavily on the hip-hop side. As you can see in this set, he mixes up originals from Two-9 or RL Grime with a host of PWRFNK edits of Danny Brown, Travis Scott, Drake, and many more. It's almost like the most future funk mixed with the next level turn up of today's stars.
