OVO Fest has officially outgrown Toronto.

Drake kicked off his North American Jungle Tour at Houston’s Toyota Center last night, as part of the 2nd annual OVO-Houston Appreciation Weekend. In addition to performing a selection of songs from If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, and swapping out Madonna for Rihanna, Drizzy let it slip that he’s planning to take OVO Fest on the road. There’s one catch—the exclusive honour will go to whichever city (aside from Toronto, naturally) goes the craziest on this tour.

Sandwiched in between performances of “We Made It” and “Over,” Drake promised the sold-out crowd that he would bring a mobile version of OVO Fest to either Houston, Detroit, Chicago, or Montreal for one night only “in the next year or two.” If that’s not impetus to turn up, I’m not sure what is.

As the Jungle Tour continues, we’ll have to see if H-Town’s energy can be bested by any other audience on the tour. Until then, think of the local heavyweights Drake could bring out as special guests in each city: OVO Fest in Houston could mean a Screwed Up Click tribute, OVO Fest Detroit could get an appearance from Danny Brown and the Bruiser Brigade, a Chicago date might be an opportunity for the GLOVO collab we’ve all been waiting for, and in Montreal...hey, does Chuggo still live in Montreal?

Watch Drake make the promise in the video above, and you can check out more clips of last night’s performance here. If you live in Detroit, Chicago, or Montreal. it is your civic duty to get as lit as possible when the Jungle Tour comes to your city.
