Earlier this afternoon, Jay Z made a rare appearance on Twitter to do some damage control on the status of his new music streaming service. Using the hashtag #TidalFacts, Hov gave fans some much-needed insight into the inner workings of Tidal and the progress we’ll see in the future. Some #TidalFacts of note were the service will be here for the long haul, it’s created for the artists and fans in mind, and it’s a global company because Hov’s cousin really did move to Nigeria.

Well, someone is still skeptical about Hov’s assuring tweets. There’s now a fake Twitter account called @TidalFacts, which have been tweeting consistently outrageous facts about hip-hop. And the only two people they followed were Jay Z and Tidal. (lol) Read some hilarious tweets below, like Dr. Dre’s mythical Detox streaming in 2090. Smh.
