Vancouver hip-hop up-and-comer Matt Brevner’s latest record, Eclectricity, fearlessly swerves between genres, united by effortless flows, and brutal honesty. It’s a diverse and exciting sound that’s unique to the multi-faceted half-Japanese, half-Trinidadian artist.

It looks like the Juno and MMVA nominated rapper/producer is setting himself up to do big things in 2015. Brevner just dropped a space-age visual for one of the album’s standout tracks, “Dark Side Of The Moon.” Here’s what he had to say about the song:

"'Dark Side Of The Moon' is a lighthearted look back at the paths that got us to this point, and understanding that realizing our hopes and dreams could mean loneliness and solitude in the end. No one’s sure what’s on the ‘Dark Side Of The Moon,’ but we're willing to risk everything to find out."
