The official lineup for the 2015 Governors Ball festival in NYC has been released, with Drake, Lana Del Rey, The Black Keys, and more set to headline the event that will take place in early June. This year's festival will mark the fifth anniversary of the event, which will once again be located at Randall's Island Park in NYC, with tickets for the festival now on sale on the Governors Ball website here.
The news of Drake headlining the East Coast festival comes one day after he was announced as the headliner for Coachella, which is set to take place in April. AC/DC and Jack White will join Drake as headliners, while The Weeknd, Run The Jewels, and more are all set to perform.
Along with the headliners at Governors Ball, the likes of Chromeo, Little Dragon, Charli XCX, Flying Lotus, Logic, A-Trak, Rustie, and many more are all set to take the stage throughout the exciting weekend. Last year's Governors Ball event was showcased by the reunion of OutKast, along with performances from J. Cole, Childish Gambino, Chance The Rapper, and more. UPDATE 2/17/15 12:15PM: The lineup schedule for the three-day festival has finally been revealed. Drake has been tapped to headline the first day of Governors Ball, a day that will also includes performances from Chromeo, St. Vincent, Charli XCX, ODESZA, and Rae Sremmurd.
