The couple is too humble to take credit for it, but John Legend and Chrissy Teigen reportedly hired food trucks today to provide free food for Eric Garner protesters in New York City. The only acknowledgement either of them made was Teigen retweeting an announcement about the food's availability.

It especially makes sense for Teigen to be quiet considering the vitriol she routinely faces on Twitter. Last week she explained why she hasn't addressed "hot button" topics lately.
Why don't I address "hot button" topics anymore? I dunno probably because you fucking rip me a new asshole every time and I'm exhausted?

We can't blame her. Bravo for still finding a way to show support, though.
