With a little over a month until the air date, Lifetime releases the first trailer for their upcoming Aaliyah: Princess of R&B biopic starring Alexandra Shipp. During the quick clip, Shipp is seen playing the late pop princess in scenes where she is at dance rehearsal, in the studio, and in an argument with her mother while Iggy Azalea's song, "Goddess," serves as the soundtrack for the trailer. The film,has been the center of a good amount of controversy and casting changes, most notably Zendaya Coleman dropping out of the project, is set to air on November 15.
