"Avicii" and "health concerns" continue to come up in the same conversation; as recently as this past March's Miami Music Week, Avicii had to pull out of his gigs due to pancreatitis that lead to the removal of his gallbladder. This is after cancelling dates in March of 2013 due to various other illnesses. During his infamous GQ profile piece, Avicii spoke on the issues he'd had with alcoholism in the past, amid more rumors of what could be going down with Avicii, but all we know right now is the news that hit the 'Net earlier today: Avicii has cancelled all of the remaining gigs he had scheduled, including his Vegas residencies at XS and Encore, as well as his TomorrowWorld slot later this month. While we've not seen any official word on his website or Facebook page, Your EDM posted the following official statement:

"At Night Management has tabled all touring and promotional activities for Avicii, aka Tim Bergling, until further notice so that he can fully recuperate from lingering health issues related to surgeries that removed his gall bladder and appendix earlier this year. The international superstar, who is the #1 Most Influential Artist Under 25 according to Spotify, is taking a break at  home in Stockholm so he can regain his strength and physical well-being before the release of a new album project next year."

This information was later confirmed by Billboard. It makes sense, considering that Avicii was back on the road soon after his gallbladder surgery, as well as hitting the studio to work on his sophomore album. We can assume that it was too much too soon, and that he truly needs to slow down, and hope that he does take this time to really rest up and get right—it'll only benefit him in prolonging his career.
