The opening night of the Drake Vs. Lil Wayne tour certainly exceeded the hype. Wayne opened the show with "Blunt Blowin" and after a few songs gave way to Drake, who started his set with "Draft Day." Three songs later, Wayne was back on stage. The two continued to alternate, performing hit after hit from their lengthy discographies. Drake floated over the crowd while singing "Marvin's Room," while Wayne started performing dressed in a bathrobe.

The spirit of the evening was competitive. "We gotta let Lil Wayne know there's just a couple of things Drake can do that he can't," Drake said before starting "Wu-Tang Forever." Wayne countered by performing "Duffle Bag Boy." "You was prolly still in that wheelchair when I was first making hits," he said. Ultimately, the two left the result up to the fans via the official tour app, and Wayne emerged victorious.

But of course, the show wasn't over. They dropped the first live rendition of new single "Grindin" and then closed out the show with "HYFR." And with night one over, it's off to Indianapolis for tomorrow's show.
