The music world has been waiting for a new album from D'Angelo for years. According to his manager Kevin Liles, it's coming in 2014 along with a tour in October. This is exciting news, but until it actually drops, it's hard to believe because the album has been rumored to drop since 2007.

Liles does offer hope for the album though, telling Billboard that they are mixing and mastering the 14-track album now. To go along with the new album, Liles said they are planning on an international tour that will kick off in October and run through 2015.

"There'll be an album this year: there's 14 records so far, we might have a couple of bonus records, but all the recording is basically done and we're mixing and mastering now. Definitely, he'll be back.
We'll probably start an international tour in October, we'll come back [to the States]. We're doing a James Brown tribute in August [at the Hollywood Bowl] and some one-off things. But the touring will probably start in October and 2015."
