Producer Russell Elevado has uploaded videos to YouTube from recent studio sessions with D'Angelo. The three videos run a combined total of 49 seconds, but they do include a brief, blurry glimpse of the singer himself. Hint: Watch the top video carefully. The videos show bassist Pino Palladino of Nine Inch Nails at work. So, music is being made! But, unfortunately, the videos do not include any vocals.
It is worth noting that exactly one year ago, Questlove said that D'Angelo's new album was "99 percent done."
