Vince Staples has released the music video for his record "Nate," and it offers a fascinating look at his time as a kid and the events and people that shaped his life. Among those influences is his father, who used to sell drugs to make ends meet. Check out the Alexi Papalexopoulos-directed video above.

"Nate" is off Staples' latest mixtape Shyne Coldchain Vol. 2. The song features vocals from James Fauntleroy and is produced by Scoop DeVille.
