Rich Homie Quan's path to success hasn't been without its difficulties, but that never stopped the Atlanta native from following his dream. His latest record "Weight Up" touches on this theme. Quan uses the metaphor of lifting weights at the gym as a way to describe his growth in the rap game. Even when no one was watching, Quan had the drive to succeed. "See I remember at first everybody was sleeping on me/I tried to wake them up, but they still went Tempur-Pedic on me," he raps over the loopy synth beat. Jose Guapo and Offset of Migos also join in by sharing their own come-up story.

If you haven't already, check out Quan's latest mixtape I Promise I Will Never Stop Going In.
