In a recent interview, Pusha T was asked about Kendrick Lamar, who appears on the standout song "Nosetalgia." Pusha said that the song came together before Kendrick's verse on "Control" was released. For him, the collaboration was important because he felt that the fans wanted to see the two rap together on the same song. "He's like the voice of the new generation," Pusha said.

Following a brief conversation about Kanye West's infamous rant at Pusha's listening session for My Name Is My Name, the conversation shifted to Kanye's feud with Jimmy Kimmel, who mocked his interview with Zane Lowe on his late night show. Calling Kanye a very "no nonsense" individual, Pusha said that Kanye's goal is to try to enlighten people. "I'm team Kanye," Pusha said.

Meanwhile, My Name Is My Name comes out this Tuesday.
