James Blake puts a nice spin on Drake's "Come Thru" record from his latest album Nothing Was The Same.
Whereas the original floats with a silky smooth melody, Blake heats it up a bit as he adds piercing synth to Drake's sly lyrics about hooking up on the low. James Blake has been dabbling in rap for quite a while now, as he recently linked up with Chance The Rapper on his "Round Here (Remix)" and also collaborated with RZA on his sophomore album Overgrown. The 25-year-old producer/singer also performed at this years' OVO Fest. Clearly he's one of Drake's new friends.
