Earlier this week we learned that Frank Ocean is way further into his Channel Orange follow-up than anybody expected, and now we get a little more insight into the project. Frank mentioned that he was working with Pharrell Williams and Danger Mouse and that he hoped to connect with King Krule and now he adds one more collaborator to that list: Martin Gore.

According to his bandmate, Dave Grahan, the Depeche Mode member already hit the studio with Ocean and producer Christopher Berg. As Grahan told Entertainment Weekly,

“We were in the studio in New York and we were filming and recording some live tracks toward the end of the session… An assistant came up to me in between songs and said, ‘Do you mind? Frank Ocean is in here working in another studio and really wants to meet you guys. I wouldn’t have thought he would have even known who we are, but it turns out he’s a big fan… Martin and Christoffer Berg ended up doing a track with him, which I think is going to be part of his new record. Martin did some electronics and some modular synthesizer stuff he really wanted.”

There’s no confirmation yet on whether this track will make it onto the album or when it might see the light of day.
