According to a recent press release, A$AP Mob artist A$AP Ferg has signed a solo deal with Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records, which is the same imprint A$AP Rocky is signed to. This comes just days before the release of Rocky's debut album LONG.LIVE.A$AP.

Ferg's first official label release will be the iTunes single version of "Work," his solo smash that has gained a great deal of momentum in recent weeks, getting regular mix-show rotation spins in New York City on Hot 97 and Power 105.

Rocky commented on the deal and the single saying, "I’m just proud right now because this is everything we wished and hoped for. A$AP Ferg worked hard for this and I put all my faith and backing into him. I feel like ‘Work’ is our generation’s 'Sippin On Some Syrup' [by Three 6 Mafia and UGK] or 'Chickenhead' [by Project Pat, La Chat and Three 6 Mafia], it has that feeling.”

"Work" hits iTunes January 22. Congrats, Ferg!
