Did Rick Ross Cancel His Upcoming Shows in North Carolina Because of Gang Threats?

It appears that a death threat is the reason behind the cancellations.

Rick Ross has cancelled two shows that were scheduled for this weekend in North Carolina supposedly because of a death threat he received from a local chapter of the Gangster Disciples, who have beef with Ross because he mentions the founder of the gang on one of his songs, and also uses the Star of David on the cover of his The Black Bar Mitzvah mixtape, which they also use.

In a recent YouTube video they posted, they warn Ross to stay out of North Carolina, and it looks as though he's taken heed to their warning, cancelling his Friday night show in Greensboro and Saturday night show in Charlotte. Rick Ross did not release a specific reason as to why the shows are cancelled, and neither did Live Nation, who will be refunding tickets starting tomorrow.
