Kendrick Lamar’s major label debut is closing in on its October 22 release date. Over the weekend, the production credits were revealed for good kid, m.A.A.d city and fans especially took note of production from Hit-Boy. Earlier today, album snippets were released, but Hit-Boy decided to give us the full version of “Backseat Freestyle.” Over an infectious vocal sample and heavy bass, Kendrick spits an aggressive flow wishing for “money, power, and respect of my mind.” Kendrick has dropped the official version via Soundcloud, listen below.
