Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul has been arrested for DUI this weekend, TMZ reports.

The husband of the House Speaker was reportedly arrested in Napa County Saturday night before midnight, and he was booked on two misdameanors: driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher.

Information in the Napa County records check out with information known about Pelosi’s husband, TMZ shares, given that he’s 84 years old and his birthday is listed as April 15, 1940. No other information regarding the incident has been released, aside from bail, which was set at $5,000.

It’s been a busy month for Pelosi and her family. Earlier in May, Pelosi was banned from receiving communion by the Catholic archbishop of San Francisco, Salvatore Cordileone. The decision to prevent her from getting communion in her hometown was a response to her House Speaker’s “extreme” pro-choice stance, per Cordileone.

“Speaker Pelosi’s position on abortion has become only more extreme over the years, especially in the last few months,” Cordileone wrote. “Just earlier this month she once again, as she has many times before, explicitly cited her Catholic faith while justifying abortion as a ‘choice,’ this time setting herself in direct opposition to Pope Francis.”

Of course, Pelosi is one of many pro-choice lawmakers who have slammed the Supreme Court’s draft opinion on a potential overturn of Roe v. Wade, saying it “slapped women in the face,” when she told CBS that it was “something so serious and so personal and so disrespectful of women.”

“The fact is that we have been fighting for a woman’s right to choose,” she said. “We have been fighting against the Republicans in the Congress constantly because the fact is there — and not just anti-woman’s right to choose in terms of terminating a pregnancy — but in terms of access to contraception and family planning and the rest, both domestically and globally.”
